Size Guide

How to measure

Small child (under 6)
Large child (6-11)
Adult Small (suitable for average 12+ and smaller than average adult heads)
Adult Medium  (average woman, smaller than average men)
Adult Large (average man, women with larger heads)
Adult Extra Large (larger heads, particularly good for men with full beards)

These are huge generalisations, of course, but if the masks are too big a couple of stitches in the elastic loops can shorten them, and if too small I can exchange and replace.

Anna Atkins (1799-1871) was the first known woman photographer and she produced the first ever book of photography with her ground breaking use of cyanotypes in Photographs of British Algae, made in 1843. Women were excluded from most of the sciences though botany was considered ‘acceptable’ for participation. Atkins was a pioneer who was neglected in her time. This fabric pays honours to her contribution to the field of botany, photography and Women in STEM.

You can also make your own cyanotypes! Perhaps whilst wearing your STEMpunk mask..
